The parent or legal guardian is responsible for the account and the information submitted in connection with the minor
learner.

5. Payment Information

Available payment methods include the payment methods supported by EduTech Mega, which can include:
● MTN Mobile Money;
● Orange Money;
● bank transfers;
● bank cards; and
● other approved payment methods.
Where a third-party payment provider processes payment-card information directly, that provider is responsible for the
applicable payment-card processing.
EduTech Mega receives and manages the applicable learner payment and is responsible for paying the tutor according to the
applicable tutor payment process.
6. Purposes of Processing Personal Information
EduTech Mega processes personal information for the following purposes:

● facilitating lessons;
● connecting learners with tutors;
● scheduling lessons;
● processing learner payments;

● enforcing EduTech Mega policies; and

7. Lesson Recordings
Where lesson recording functionality is used, access to the recording is restricted to authorized EduTech Mega
administrators.
Tutors and learners do not have general administrative access to lesson recordings.
An authorized administrator shall access a relevant recording when the recording is necessary to investigate or validate
a legitimate dispute, complaint, safeguarding concern, harassment allegation, exploitation allegation, serious
misconduct allegation, or other serious incident requiring investigation.
Recordings must not be accessed for unrelated purposes.
Access to recordings must be restricted to authorized personnel with a legitimate operational, safeguarding, legal, or
dispute-resolution reason for accessing the recording.
EduTech Mega must implement reasonable safeguards against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse
of recordings.
8. Children and Minors
EduTech Mega recognizes the additional protection required when its services involve children.
A minor learner must participate through an account created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
The parent or legal guardian:
● must create or manage the account;
● must provide the required consent;
● must provide accurate information;
● must comply with EduTech Mega's child-safeguarding requirements; and
● must report serious safety concerns to EduTech Mega without undue delay.
EduTech Mega shall take appropriate protective action when it receives information indicating a serious safety,
safeguarding, exploitation, harassment, abuse, or other child-protection concern.
Where applicable law requires reporting or cooperation with competent authorities, EduTech Mega shall comply with that
legal requirement.
